Review of “The Basic Laws of Human Stupidity” by Andrea Chinelliott

I absolutely loved this 8 page zine! So funny and so true! This Zine was constructed from one folded 11x17 piece of paper. This zine is based on the book, with the same title by Carlos Cipolla. Seeing the shambolic state of human affairs, and sensing the dark force at work behind it, Cipolla, the late, noted professor of economic history at the University of California, Berkeley, created a vitally important economic model that would allow us to detect, know and neutralize this threat: The Basic Laws of Human Stupidity.

Andrea Chinelliott with Pencil Face Publishing https://pencilfacellc.com does a wonderful job capturing the whimsical and humorous nature of these 5 basic laws through her artwork. Laughed out loud as I worked through her illustrations of these 5 basic laws. Likewise I was delightfully surprised by a large poster folded inside the zine that speaks to the heart of a person who maybe anxious about their eternal state. Loved it!
